Bode is one of the pups from our Beamer & Gabby litter. He is a very sweet, sensitive, loving boy, and one of my favorite snuggle buddies. His absolute favorite pasttime is chasing the fence with his brother Bruiser, which they would probably do for hours on end if I let them. Bode's very much aware of what's going on around him, extremely cautious and very protective of his people. He craves attention, getting jealous if you're petting another dog instead of him. His beautiful blue eyes are the perfect window to his sweet soul. He's a gorgeous dog and a great little buddy for anyone willing to take the time to get to know him. If only he and my husband got along, he would have had a permanent home with us.

Bode now belongs to Ellen and Bruce at the 17 Ranch (a.k.a. Aussie Heaven) in Lewellen, Nebraska. There, Bode will get to be a ranchhand, guard dog, rabbit chaser and companion dog. For a virtual tour of Bode's new home, visit the 17 Ranch website .

HEALTH NOTE: One of Bruiser's littermates was diagnosed with a medial luxating patella.
Because it is considered to be a congenital condition, Bruiser, both parents and all remaining littermates
were also given a patellar examinations; their results were normal.
