Chasie was our first Aussie, and is Esther's best bud. She was picked from a litter of twelve at 4 days old, just before their tails were docked. We couldn't resist leaving that cute little black tail with a white tip intact! She's definitely a momma's girl, following Esther wherever she goes, taking naps on her lap, and guarding her intently if a stranger comes too close. Though a natural guardian, once she gets used to having new people around, it doesn't take long before she starts offering kisses and asking for some attention. She gets along great with other dogs, is an excellent puppysitter, loves to play, and is just a wonderful all-around girl. It was her awesome attitude, natural abilities and intelligence that first inspired us to have an Aussie kennel. We look forward to beginning her stock training in the near future. For now, she's a great help in keeping the chickens rounded up!
